His mother Sarah, beleived to be the daughter of Tobias and Nancy Adams, is in Sumter County Georgia in the 1850 census. In 1860, she is in Lee County Georgia, have not been able to find her in the 1870 census, in 1880 she is in Hamilton County Florida in the household of John D. Johnson. John D. is my GGg-dad, Sarah is GGGg-mother. According to death certificate for John D, his dad is also John D. Johnson. Sarah was B) c. 1819 in Robeson County NC. Am trying to find more info. on the elder John D.
