I am seeking info on the following person: trying to find out more about him. JAMES MARION JOHNSON, b. March 9, 1844 TN & d. Jan 23, 1922, Texas Co. MO. His father was James Johnson and his mother was named Nancy. That is all I know. Can somebody identify this man? Thank you, Judy in TX
Judy, Are you sure that it is not James Mitchell Johnson, born 09 Mar 1844 ten who died on 23 Aug 1922 Cabool, Texas Co. Mo. ? I am assuming that you have the family on the 1850 Texas Co. Dist 98 census, the 1860 Texas, Berdine, PO Cedar Bluff census and the 1879 Mo., Pulaski, Liberty, Po Waynesville census This appears to be the family of James T Johnson, born 1814 Tenn. Nancy born 1838 and children: James Mitchell John Robinson born 1839 Tenn died 1883 Leroy R born 1842 Tenn Mary E born 1848 I find that its very interesting that on one census the family is next door to William Johnson and Lucinda. Who are they? One one census they are next door to Hyrum Hudson Jones and family, the son of Joshua Todhunter Jones. The name James Mitchell, James T, John Robinson and Mary E instead of Nancy, are from a LDS report. I do not have any of these people on my databases. This is certainly interesting though.
