Anyone connecting up with Nathaniel Johnson (1691-1769) in Haverhill, MA? Wife was Mehitable Gile and parents John & Lydia (Clements) Johnson. I alredy have data on many lines and thanks to this forum have compared notes with a cousin Phyllis. But due to the proliferation of Johnsons (many of them in Dixie!) I intend to sign off soon. Glad to hear from anyone before doing so. ozarksbill ([email protected]) --------------------------------- Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. PC-to-Phone calls for ridiculously low rates.
Hello, Bill, I don't have a Nathaniel JOHNSON but wonder if, amongst your New England lines, you have any connection to Thomas JOHNSON of Strafford Cty, NH, 1717-1802 (m. Esther TUTTLE, 1723-??)? For many years I have tried to learn his parentage, with no results. I think he was probably b. in NH but don't know for sure. He purchased land in 1742 in NH. He may have had a brother/cousin/?? named Joseph in the same area. I have much info on the children, descendants, etc. Thanks.
