Ruth Amelia JOHNSON, 103, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Mrch 19, 2006, at The Mira, Truro. She was a daughter of the late Silas and Laura (Hoar) Johnson. She was a 1926 graduate of The Aberdeen Hospital School of Nursing, New Glasgow. Her nursing careet included a period of time in New York; private duty in Nova Scotia; and she retired from the staff of Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. She was a member of the Truro Alliance Church. She was the only sruviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by sister, Edith, Oressa; brothers, Elmer, Lorne, Crosby. Funeral service was held Tuesday Morning, Mrch 21, 2006, at the Mattatall Funeral Home, Trurok, Pastor Scott Penner officiating, with burial at a later date in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley
