I am going to start a Series of Posting on abstracts of Revolutionary War application covering Johnson- Jonson and Johnston that I have found to have ties in Virginia and North Carolina, the files were sent to me by another researcher from a scanned book "1857 Rev. War Applications' and I have typed them into word format for postings in our joint researcher's files of the Jonson-Jonston-Johnson-Johnston and Johnstone names. County Files are maintained for Virginia and North Carolina. This is meant to aide Johnson- Johnston- Jonson and Jonston researchers in their research. Until I get these Rev. War posted to OUR County files in Virginia and NC. we are glad to share our finds with others. I will cross reference all these Abstracts into the correct County files that we have. and we will be glad to share but it is going to be awhile (2 weeks) before cross referencing is completed this is completed. the researcher sent me copies of almost 2,000 Johnson surnames covering all of the 13 colonies and were these folks went after the War. If another researcher wants Other States beside Va and NC abstracts I will be glad to send you the Original Documents from this Book, but these files are "Huge" and not sorted by States they are in NAME Order and have to be read as it is in small typed tight pages.
