My ancestor, Mary Ann Johnson was born in Virginia in 1828. She was married to William Henry White in Pike Co., Mo. January 16, 1845. I have not yet identified her parents. There were several Johnston/Johnson families living in Pike and Lincoln Co. I will not ever find her listed by name with her parents on a census record, because she was married prior to 1850 when all persons in household were identified by name.
