Hello Sheridan and Listers: Luxury? Genealogy IS a luxury! as far as my time is concerned. And being listed as a "digest" subber is NOT an alternative for me either. I will look at "Today's Topic" and see "[JOHNSON] (subject)"(20+ times) and there you have it - DELETE once - because I do not have the luxury to check if every one of those posts are even different or may be of interest to me (usually they're duplicates from a newbie or someone on holiday/vacation). I can see where "digest" would be idea, but not when I'm afforded NO luxury. And having to check all the "Tony" posts is NOT a luxury as far as I'm concerned. But I'll be d%&*#@! if I'm gonna open every "Tony" post because he chooses not to fill in the Subject line. "(delete) I do not post to the Johnson web site any more due to a few constant complainers." --"Tony Johnson" <tonyempireore@msn.com> - hum, I'll have to investigate further or like his Subject lines he is unwilling to disclose the matter any further? "Get A Grip People." You are telling me it is okay for "Tony" to have a blank Subject line but not a good idea if I should leave the Subject line blank? If "Tony" is willing/able/volunteering to post JOHNSON info(20+ times) then he most assuredly can fill in a Subject line however many times to get JOHNSON researcher's undivided attention. A Subject line can be names of whatever is the topic of the Body of Message. Whereas the Body of Message can be one, two, or more sentences - am I the only blind lister of the JOHNSON list? What is wrong with this picture? .... This does not sit well with me as I've only subbed recently, but I will be un-subbing soon. Good luck Sheridan, Pam, and all sympathizers of the JOHNSON list. ....
