Patti I posted several hundred Johnson-Johnston-Jonson names on the list, you will have to go back and preview old message sent to the list on Rootsweb, or you can send me a direct e-mail to TonyempireOre@msn.com<mailto:TonyempireOre@msn.com> and I will send you some huge files. If you want to narrow your search please let me know if you are researching in NC or Va and what County as we maintain a library on our various surnames and I will send you this as I haved finished cross referencing the Rev. War Files of NC and Virginia Johnson- Johnston's and placed them in the County Files. I am almost at a point where I can cross reference other Surnames that have married Johnson-Johnston etc in Va and NC and send files on how those surnames fit into a set of Johnson-Johnston families (CLAN). This will require the person to do a lot of reading. Tony L. Sandra Never a dumb question. Answer I do not have a HOME Page for me: I answer each question and respond to it individuals. We are several groups of Johnson- Johnston-Jonson-Johnstone researchers documenting and collecting ever document we find. on this Surname in Virginia and NC. There are those that are sharing research that do have home Pages. One person goes thru many eliminations trying to find their right connections. We eliminate research that is of no value to us but to another it might be, so we share this information that we find. It is sent to me for referencing and cross referencing and I send out updated Files to the whole group of researchers sharing information. Where established DNA lines have been documented they have been assigned a color for their Different DNA on these surnames.
