    2. Tony Johnson
    3. So in 1654 New Kent formed from n/a York, this means The Reverend Edward Johnson died in lands that were in YORK CO in 1665 leaving a son Edward Johnson, a wife Mrs. Johnson and who is Mrs. Mallory (most likely daughter or sister) Per his Inventory. One needs to get into York County records to find out more "Truths" about Reverend Edward Johnson as it appears he only had on MALE heir from this and that was Edward Johnson his son. Dang those links are duplicating again. if you want to read the links take from http: to where you see this < and only use that section between them in your search engine Tony

    1. [JOHNSON] Arthur Johnson Pendleton Co.Va.
    2. Becky Lucas
    3. I am interested in the family of Arthur Johnson who lived in Pendleton Co. Va. and died around 1787. (I don't know much about this man) I just recently found some information that showed he may have had a son named Edward. The evidence is sketchy, but a possibility. It sure would fit with the Edward Johnson that I have been looking for. My Edward was born around 1760 and had a daughter named Margaret who married in Randolph Co. Va.on April 6, 1809. I might add that I am related to the Phares family and others from Pendleton Co. Va. Many of these families are later found in Randolph Co. Va. Edward is listed on a tax list of Randolph Co. Va. from 1802. I know nothing about my Edward Johnson, the only think I know is that he is listed as Margaret Johnson's father on her marriage record to William Loughry. Is there any evidence that this Arthur Johnson may have had a son named Edward, thanks. Becky
