First of all I wish to apoligize for the vague query. I see now that it was kind of stupid. Anyway, to get to back to the subject of Mathew Johnson. He was born about 1772 in North Carolina. He married Millie Simmons in Franklin Co., North Carolina on the 28 Jul 1797. They migrated to Wilson Co., Tennesse shortly thereafter. So what I am seeking now is Mathews father. One clue I have is the name JAMES. Probably born about 1750 in Virginia or North Carolina. Any body have any answers for me. Thanks everyone. best regards Margie
