I am trying to find information about John Gjovig (Jovig) who came from Norway to Rock Co. Wisconsin in the mid 1800's. He kept his name but may have been registered at JOHNSON. His children including one named Emil used the surname JOHNSON. They are buried in St Paul's Liberty Lutheran Church, Liberty Corners, Wisconsin.
