William Hickman Johnson's father may have been Craven Johnson born in MD ca 1755 and may have married Polly Lowe? He and a brother Kinsey lived mostly in TN where they surveyed and traded in land. Craven's children are believed to be Joel Johnson 1800-1889 (Died in Henry County, Iowa, William Hickman Johnson, Olman Johnson, Nancy Johnson married a Scott, and Rachel Johnson married a Laughery.
