    1. [JOHNSON] Johnson - Hadley of Delaware
    2. Searching for Johnson's of East Tennessee..... has landed me in Delaware ~ ! I don't know the source... but, I have made notecards of the following information. I am looking for anyone who can maybe tell me the source to cooberate it or add to it. ROBERT JOHNSON b. Feb. 25, 1715 possibly New Castle, Deleware..... -m- Catherine HADLEY on Aug. 19, 1732 Children: Hannah.... Simon..... Caleb.....Lydia.....Stephen.....Jonathan....... and ISAAC. The "Isaac" I seek is born 1779.... loc. unk.... and it is unlikely that THIS is my Isaac -- good old Robert would be quite ambitious at 64 to have 'fathered' Isaac, in 1779... but.... since I know that Isaac of 1779 was the son of Robert and also gave the name Robert to his own son....... it might follow that my "Isaac" could be grandson to the Isaac above. ((Robert born in 1715...... 20-30 yrs.= 1735-45 might yield an Isaac......another 20-30 yrs. = 1755-65 and another Robert.... yielding 20-30 yrs. = 1775-85 and my Isaac of 1779 would maybe fall into place........???? NOW..... I know it's a little bit of a reach......lolol........ but DESPARATE IS as DESPARATE DOES......... Anybody know Robert Johnson -Catherine Hadley..... and their children ---- PARTICULARLY.... ISAAC??? Thanks...... hoping to get to Tenn. and do some serious record searching..... land records and tax lists..... I DO KNOW that MY Isaac's youngest son, Lorenzo Dow JOHNSON - was born in East Tenn.... lived there, died and buried on the same land. I know I have posted before....... but, I am trying to work at it from the top down for a while. I would be interested in any Robert - Isaac (father - son) relationships that would allow for Isaac to be born in 1779....... location is still a mystery for now. Thanks for any help and suggestions...... ((VA does not look promising.... 'jury' is still out on NC and KY as possible birthplaces)). Maybe a trace from the top down of various Robert-Isaac connections ----- will 'meet in the middle'........ Thanks again for time...... Connie (Johnson) Welty
