My Johnsons are Orion Johnson Sr. b. dec 24 1904 d. 1970 m. Zelda Tarwater. They lived in Little Rock, Arkansas for many years. Orion's siblings were: Rebecca, Minnie Lee, Alice, Jim, Coley, and Doss? who was killed in a gunfight. Orion's dad wasWilliam Sydney Johnson b. abt. 1882? d. abt. 1952? m. Minnie Valentine Roland b. abt. 1883 d. abt 1953. William had a brother named James. They homesteaded in Etowah, Arkansas in the NE corner of the state. They were originally from Mississippi. I also have Johnsons on Zelda side of the family. Her mother was Edith Johnson b. 3 Mar 1889 d. in 6 jun 1944 in Russell, Arkansas. Her parents were W.R. Johnson b. 1840 in Kentucky d. 1920 in Arkansas and Mary Francis Bone 4 Aug 1848, Tennessee d. 15 jul 1913inArkansas.
