Hi Gena, I just joined the Johnson mailing list about a week ago and posted an e-mail about lost Arkansas Johnsons to which you replied. I have just learned that Zelda Tarwater's (Zelda married Orion Leon Johnson, Sr., who is from a different line of Johnsons from Mississippi which is what the email was about) mother was Edith Johnson b. 13 mar 1889 d. Jun 5 1944 in Russell, Arkansas. Edith's parents were W.R. Johnson b. 1840 in Kentucky d. 1920 in Arkansas. W.R. married Mary Francis Bone b. 8 aug 1848 Tennessee d. 15 jul 1913 in Arkansas. She was the daughter of Noah Bone b. 1818 in VA or Tenn. m. Jane b. 1826 in NC. I hope this information is of some help to you as I know you have been looking for your Johnsons for long time. If we are indeed linked via the KY Johnsons, I would love to exchange information. I would appreciate any help or information as I am finding the Johnson branch of my family very difficult to research. I am at work right now so I will give you my home email address also.
