They played a major role with the Indians in Ohio and Indiana and westward as they were pushed out. The indians seemed to get along and there seemed to be a very fatherly role here. I was wondering if they were really Melengeon in descent and therefore more beneveloant. My grandmother 'who was stolen by the indians' Sally Thompson lived with them. Another Melungeon name.
