I just received a copy of the marriage bond of Samuel B. Johnson and Elizabeth Shepherd. The marriage date was December 19, 1831, Fluvanna County, VA. John Shepherd gave his consent for Elizabeth to be married and the consent was witnessed by James T. Shepherd. Samuel Johnson and Walker Timberlake made bond for the marriage.
