I just joined the Johnson list and am searching for some information. I am looking for the family of Joseph and Lydia Cook Johnson. Joseph was born in 1791 in Rhode Island. Joseph and Lydia had a son, Amos Johnson b. 12 Nov 1838 in Woodstock, Champaign, Ohio who married Mary Nagley. Amos and Mary Nagley Johnson had a son, Eason Aaron Johnson born on 15 Nov 1880 in Oregon. Eason married Minnie Ferguson. I am trying to locate the parents of Joseph Johnson b. 1791 in Rhode Island. I am looking for information on a J.H. Johnson who lived in Clarke County, Alabama ca 1860. He may have been a brother of William Johnson who married Louisa Matilda Davis in Clarke County in 1853.
