Hello Norma, Thanks for writing back. I also have another James Johnson unrelated (most likely) to the other James Johnson. My GGGrandmother, Elizabeth CARTER of Indiana was married first to a James JOHNSON. In 1864, he served her with divorce papers in Iroquios County, Illinois, where I believe Elizabeth was then living with my GGGrandfather, Scott S. ETHINGTON, as Scott's mothers family, the SHERRILLs were there in Iroquois County. I don't know anything else about this James Johnson. I put this on the Johnson List to get all of these names, dates and places "out there."
