Henry registered for the Civilian Draft in 1917 and was living in Mackey, Idaho at the time. His occupation was US Mail Carrier. Henry married Esther L. Jackson on 1 March 1919 in Bonneville, Idaho. Henry and Esther were found in the 1920 Bonneville Federal Census. His occupation was machinist in an auto shop. Siblings included Lena, Elsie, John Aro and Lizzie.
