My great great grandfather was Elisha Travis Johns(t)on, also known as Eli or ET. He was born April 21, 1844 in either Georgia or Tennessee. He lived in the area around Hamburg, Hardin County, Tennessee, and joined Co. B, 34th Conf. Infantry. After the war he married Mary Elizabeth Stevenson in Hardin County in 1868. Mary Elizabeth was born in Hardin County on Mar 28, 1845. I am searching for their parents and siblings. I have a lot of information on Gideon Johnston Sr., born Oct 11, 1728 Virginia, and his line, if that will help anyone. My line runs from Gideon Sr to Gideon Jr to Sarah Johnson/Hubbard to Nancy Hubbard/Cooley to Isabella Verdell. Happy New Year and good hunting.
