My G-GF John Walter Royal JOHNSON died 8 February 1908 in Richmond, VA. The family story is that while running in the rain to catch a street car, he slipped and fell (he might have been hit by the street car), and died soon after (hours, days, weeks?). I mention this because if he was hit by a street car, then maybe there is a story in a newspaper about the accident. I haven't found one. As you can see my info only goes back to the mid 1800's. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Marinell
