Hi all, I have never listed my family here. I have been hoping to see some of mine listed but so far not. I will list what I know starting with my grandfather and going back..... My grandfather: Clarence Carter Johnson, born in Polk County, Texas, 1891 His parents: Robert Pemble Johnson, born in Polk County, Texas, 1863 married Harriet Adella Barfield His parents: William George Johnson, born in Amite County, Mississippi, 1822 married Elizabeth Emily Jane Pemble His parents: William Perkins Johnson, born in New York, July 25, 1773 married Ruth Gray (they met and married in South Carolina prior to moving to Mississippi where they both died. He moved to South Carolina at a very early age) His parents: John Johnson, born in New York, November 6, 1736 married Abigail Fowler (they were married at Trinity Church in New York... I have a paper from the church confirming their marriage. I have been to their graves at the Second Presbyterian Church in Charleston, South Carolina) I have no doubt about the information I have just listed.... I have read that John Johnson was the son of a Reverend Johnson (Jensen) and Sarah Jane Haywood. This information came from a website which includes my members as well as other children of John and Abigail. His brother William moved to South Carolina first and John followed.
