He married Anne CARTER Bef. 1797, daughter of Thomas CARTER (whereabouts unknown). Children of Charles JOHNSON and Anne CARTER are: [Children were all born in Georgia, but the whereabouts are unknown... They are suspect to have been in Clinton, Jones County, however, (per Pro genealogist in Georgia), nothing was found!] i. THOMAS C. JOHNSON, b. 1797, Georgia; d. Bef. April 1865, Owen County, Kentucky; m. (1) HELEN LAWRENCE, July 09, 1824, Owen County, Kentucky; m. (2) MARY ANN BELLAMY, December 13, 1825, Henry County, Kentucky. ii. SAMUEL "SAM" JOHNSON, b. 1800, Georgia; d. Bef. September 1865, Owen County, Kentucky. iii. NANCY JOHNSON, b. 1802, Georgia; m. WILLIAM GREGORY, August 02, 1842, Owen County, Kentucky. iv. WILLIAM "BILL" JOHNSON, b. 1804, Georgia; d. Bef. April 1865, Owen County, Kentucky; m. ELIZABETH "BETSY" MILLER, 1828. v. ALEXANDER "ALECK" JOHNSON, b. 1808, Georgia; d. Bef.
