Looking for information on Leander Johnson, b. 1834 in OH. Married Sarah Varney in 1865, Van Wert Co. OH and later married Elizabeth Harden Whitright in 1878 also in Van Wert Co. OH. Children with Sarah: John, Irvine, Roxana, Martha & Lafayette. Children with Elizabeth: Leota, Rosella, Sarah, Harley, Dora, Benjamin, William & Arthur. All born in Van Wert Co. OH. Leander d. 1907 in Adams Co. IN. I cannot find any information prior to 1865. His tombstone reads "A. L. Johnson". All records that I have list his name as Leander A. Johnson. Roxana b. 1840, married Harlow Richmond in Crawford OH in 1857 and moved to Van Wert OH in 1861 and then to Sacramento. Roxana is the only sibling I have knowledge of at this time.
