Hello, I'm looking for any information concerning SAMUEL JOHNSON and his family. He married ELIZABETH SHEPHERD in Fluvanna County, December 19, 1831. Their oldest son, THOMAS C. stated in his Civil War pension application that he was born in Buchanan, VA and he was married to SARAH A. H. PENN in Rockbridge County, VA. Some of the children were born in Botetourt. The family eventually settled in Missouri. Children were: John W. born November, 1832 Thomas C. born November, 1834 James W. born December 15, 1839 Annie Emma Rebecca born August 28, 1844 Jane W. Sarah R.
