Dear Listers I have just returned from the saddest journey I have ever made to Hebburn where my dear brother passed away last week. I had just started to research our family tree and as I have several on the go had not put much effort into it of late. I had promised him a family tree but now regretfully I am unable to give him one, so I have promised that his children will have it instead. Has any SKS an MI list for the Hebburn Cemetary and could look up the following: Elizabeth Johnson (Nee Anderson) her husband James Johnson Lucinda (Cindy) Anderson James Anderson Joseph Anderson and Thomas Anderson. Their parents were William and Annie Anderson. The 1881 Census places this family at 27 Prince Consort Road, Hebburn. Family moved from Glasgow after the birth of Elizabeth. Also has anyone any connections with the following: Robert Johnson c.1795 Widdrington, Northumberland Jane Johnson c.1841 Alnwick (maiden name unknown) James 16 Sep 1869 Alnwick died in Hebburn John c.1866 Alnwick Robert c. 1871 Alnwick Mary c. 1873 Alnwick George c. 1877 Backworth William c.1799 Backworth The 1881 Census places them at New York, Murton. It is not known where they moved to after this date except that James Johnson my grandfather lived in Hebburn for many years before his death. Family does not relate to the rest of the Johnson's having been at this location, therefore assume that they may have lived and died at New York, Murton. Any help would be most appreciated.
