HARDY JOHNSON was born in 1758 in Cumberland Co. NC and was a Rev. War soldier in Wake Co. NC. His wife was Millicent or Milley. Their son DARLING JOHNSON was born in 1780 and all of these JOHNSON's moved to Houston Co. GA in the early 1800's. DARLING JOHNSON was an attorney in Houston Co. GA and his name appears in many property transactions around 1820-1840. Darling Johnson's sons were: ELDRED JOHNSON, LITTLETON ( William ) JOHNSON, HARDY JOHNSON, and GREEN JOHNSON. One of DARLING JOHNSON's daughters married GREEN SNELLING Another daughter married AMOS SNELL and they lived in Emanuel Co, GA and later in Jackson Co., FL.
