I have been searching for years for my Johnson's b: IN I have come up with some information but not sure it fits into Mine. Is there anyone out there researching any of these folks. IN Census: Could be Ashby, Ashbey or Ashley Margaret Ashby age 49, b: abt 1801 Samuel Ashby age 28, b: abt 1822 Mary Ashby 24, b: abt 1825 or 26 William Johnson age 4, b: abt 1846 Ephraim Johnson age 3. b: abt 1845 Benjamin Johnson age 1 b: abt 1849 Items I found on some Ashby or Ashbey (could not read spelling) Margaret Johnson/Ashby m: 1822 to William Ashby ASHBY, Margaret, d. 12-16-1877 - 75 yr - wife of William buried Pike Co., IN. Risley Cem. Ashby, William. - d - Jan 1894 - 81 yr William W. or M. Johnson b: 1/26/1846 Census record for a William W. Johnson 1870 Monroe County, IN William W. Johnson 26 Farmer 500 IN Sarah E. 26 Keeping house IN Roosetta 8 School IN Lucinda 4 Home IN Josy 2 Home IN The following are other names mentioned on Bible Record. Samuel H. Johnson b: 10/26/1821 Mary Johnson b: 7/21/1825 Daniel W. Grubb b: 10/8/1866 Mary Birch. L.A. Taggart (said she was a cousin of Mary J. Johnson) lived in Chetco, Curry Co., Oregon. In letter to Mary J. mentions Uncle Silvanus & Uncle Milan. (One of Benjamin Johnson's children is Silvanus.) TAGGART, L.A.; Brown Co., IN 27 Mar 1848 > Curry Co., OR 1888; m. Rebecca T. BADER [b. Indiana 31 May 1853]. L.A. Taggart's children are Ovie, Lourena, James L.W., Albert R and Orvel C. MARTINUCCI, Andrew; Lombard, Italy 7 Feb 1856 > Curry Co., OR Mar 1893; m. Ovia TAGGART [b.
