Hello, I am looking for info on DAVID JOHNSON born NC July 6, 1801 to GA (we believe) by 1830, married UNKNOWN (Possibly Catha Ann Somebody) by 1828 and had three children: Joseph, born 1828 Charlotte born 1830 Francis Jane, born 1833 Married again In 1838 in Stewart County, Georgia to SARAH ANN LANCASTER, daughter of THOMAS LANCASTER and SARAH COOPER. SARAH ANN LANCASTER was born September 2, 1819 in GA. After the 1838 marriage between David and Sarah, they moved to Russell County, AL and were there by 1839. All of their children were born in Russell Co. AL: Thomas Lancaster, born 1839 married Lois Antoinette BEALL and moved to GA William E., born 1843, married Sarah HOLDEN Laura Emma, born 1846, married Josiah HOLMES to Rankin MS George Anthony, born 1849 Sarah C. (perhaps Cooper), born 1851 Lamira, born 1855 Some time before 1863 David and Sarah moved to Rankin County, MS (as did at least some of their children) and Sarah died there in 1863. David died in Rankin County in 1867. I do not know anything about David's parents, and am especially eager to learn about him, but would welcome information on any of the above.
