Hi all - I am looking for infomation on my husbands great grandparents. His ggrandfather is Liberty JOHNSON and ggrandmother is Mary HAMMACK or HAMMOCK. I know Liberty and Mary were in Grayson County Texas in 1888 since their daughter was born there that year. I don't think they stayed in Texas more than a couple of years though, and maybe even less than that. Liberty's brother is Garfield Johnson I think. Colorado maybe a couple of years and McLoud Oklahoma in 1908 where my husbands grandparents, Nora Ellen JOHNSON and Raymond Robert ASHFORD, got married. I have no other information on Liberty except that he died a lot sooner than Mary. The information I have on Mary HAMMACK is that she was born: 1866 and died in Los Angeles, California in 1960. I don't know how accurate the dates are either. I am stuck on this one. Mary and Liberty JOHNSON's children are: Nora Ellen, Jessie, Laura (Esther), Gilbert, and Lela. Any help would be appreciated.
