Greetings, Malissa Jane Johnson married James W. Evans in Hawkins Co.,Tn in May 1861. Malissa was around 21 years old born in TN and James W. Evans was around 31 and born in VA. They were in Hawkins County, TN until the late 1800's. The next place I find them is in 1900 in Pineville, Bell Co., KY at age 70 and 60. Their youngest son Samuel Joseph Evans was living with them. Samuel married Fannie B. VanMeter in 1903 Pineville, KY. I lost them after 1900. How is that for a brickwall, pre-1860? post -?1900. I only know they had records from 1860 to 1900, 40 years out of?
