Jesse JOHNSON was born in NY, migrated to IN where he married Emily ENGLISH (b. 1828, PA), and then migrated to Fillmore County, MN where he is buried. They had 9 children: Charles M., Mary Isabel, Joseph E., Granville Manard, James Harvey, Orpha Estella, Emma, William, and Ida. Jesse is my husband's g-g-grandfather and was a farmer and a shoemaker.
