The William JOHNSON jnr from Girneturnhill correct spelling (Gunnerton Hill) Northumberland from the 1881 census extract below, is my great grandfather and he married Margaret DAWSON, their children are as follows: Richard, married Sybil EDWARDS Margery married Jack ARMSTRONG and lived at High Spen. William married Maggie WARD Jack married Lizzie Ann PARKINSON Harry married Polly BOAST Alec married Ethel WHITFIELD Gertie Mary Ann (1889) Margaret (1893) married Edward CHARLTON Isobella (1894) married Charles Henry BURN my (grandparents) and lived in Byker.
