I have looked for years for the parents and siblings of Edward Maurice Johnson, my gggrandfather. Records show that he was born in Ohio in 1827, married Elizabeth Marshall in 1849 in Lawrence County, Ohio, where they lived until after 1860. They had 7 children: William Henry, b 1850; Michael (Mitchell) b 1842; Margaret, b 1854; Sarah J., b 1855; Samuel, b 1857; John Marshall, b 1859; Benjamin, b 1865.
