    1. [JOHNSON] Mary (McLair) Johnson - 1884 Obit - Greene County Ohio
    2. XENIA DAILY GAZETTE MONDAY EVENING FEBRUARY 11, 1884 MARY JOHNSON A good woman has passed away. No more will her friends see her gentle face or hear her loving words. Mrs. Mary JOHNSON, wife of County Commissioner Alfred JOHNSON of Jamestown, died at her residence 1/2 mile East of Jamestown on Wednesday the 6th inst.., after an illness of two weeks. She was before marriage Mary MCLAIR, and was a sister of Wm. MCLAIR, of near the same place, and Philip MCLAIR of Washington C.H. Besides these, she leaves 2 brothers and a sister who reside in Indiana. Of her own family she leaves her bereaved husband, and her son, Charles, a young man. She was a devoted member of the Friends Church, and a most exemplary woman in every respect, and one whose memory will be be revered in the hearts of a large circle of relatives and friends while memory lasts. The funeral took place on Friday from the residence, the services being conducted by Rev. NEWHOUSE, of the Christian Church. The very large attendance at the funeral indicated the high esteem in which the deceased was held by all the neighbors. Debbie ( I have no connection with the family) I found this obit and thought it might be of interest to someone on the list. ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
