Hello all, I have been asked about this line, and several times of late, in regard to the fact that this is one of the early VA progenitors for the JOHNSON line that Lyndon Baines JOHNSON descends from. At this point, way back in early Colonial VA, my JOHNSON line also is descended from this man. My line descends from the son, Joseph, and the line for LBJ descends from either the brother John Jr . . . or Joseph's son, John, and at the moment I don't know which one. However . . . my data does indicate that LBJ's mother had to contact my LA line to get past the GA location to VA, and that they are definitely a lateral to me. < GRIN > I do have a copy of the Will for my Joseph JOHNSON [d. 1781], which lists his wife and all seven of his children . . . as well as the transcribed copy of the Will for his father John JOHNSON Sr. These are due to be posted to my website shortly and thus will be available to all who would like a copy. My line descends from Joseph JOHNSON m. Sarah "Sally" HARRIS, thru their daughter Joanna JOHNSON m. Nathaniel MOSS, who made the migration to the Wilkes and Oglethorpe County GA areas after 1785. By late 1810 they had made their final migration to their Vermillion Parish LA plantation named, Orange Grove, where they lived out the remainder of their lives. Since my JOHNSON data is limited to Goochland Co. VA, Oglethorpe Co. GA, and Vermillion Parish, LA . . .
