Looking for information on John A. JOHNSON who, according to family tradition, was a body guard for Abraham LINCOLN. John was born in 1839 and died 17 Nov. 1896 in, we believe, Fillmore, New York. His parents were James JOHNSON and Marion DERBY/DEARBY John was supposedly wounded in his left arm while serving for LINCOLN.
