Irene P. Johnson 1926-2000 Irene P. Johnson, 74, of Westerville, formerly of Xenia, passed away Thursday morning at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. She was born Feb. 18, 1926 in Columbus. She was a member of the Eleazer United Methodist church, Bluegrass Association and the Bowersville Pleasant Grange #28. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James Paul and Sandy Johnson of Westerville, and Thomas Edward and Cini Johnson of Peyton, Colorado.: three grandchildren, Nissa Kay Johnson, Leona Jean Johnson and Bruce Edward Johnson and wife Tessa; two great-grandchildren, Mallarie Johnson and Tyler Marie Johnson; two half-sisters, Doris McClary of Columbus and Gertrude Tufts of Hilliard; and a half-brother, Bill Legg of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul B. Johnson, on Sept.28, 1992; her foster mother, Leona Martin; and her parents, Nancy Elizabeth Fulton (Legg) and William Phillips. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14 at the Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
