He married Ruth MAYFIELD abt 1817 and then Delilah JOHNSON on 07 Nov 1831. I believe that Younger and Ruth had the following children: Jane JOHNSON 01/29/1818 m Charles William ASBILL John W JOHNSON 1823 m Melinda GILSTRAP William M JOHNSON 1822 m Jaley ASBILL I do not believe that this Younger JOHNSON could not be the son of Cave JOHNSON because that Younger JOHNSON died when he was very young. Younger JOHNSON's middle initial may have been "I". He served in the Virginia Militia during the War of 1812. He enlisted for 6 months beginning August 31, 1812. While going to the company store to order some men to return to the encampment, he was severly wounded during an attack by a band of Indians. Any information would be appreciated.
