I have no idea where in North Carolina they came from. I think the eldest family member to come to Kentucky was John Johnson and wife Lydia. They would have been married prior to 1775. I beleive their children were Asa, Jeremiah, Piety, Isham and Lydia. Isham (sometimes spelled Isom) and Asa seem to be favorite names in this particular set of Johnsons. Can anyone help? Thanks. Jeremy Johnson ______ >> Jeremy, I cannot help on this at this time but stay in touch. I have a Johnson line thar married into the Collard family in the area of Grayson, Green, Breckenridge Counties of Ky about that same time. I have not been able to determine who is who or to connect them to my line. The Collards and Johnsons showed up in Arkansas later on. Gena Theiss
