    3. I have a John Johnson abt.1827, question were, may have been N.C.. He was in N.C. from 1850 till 1861, then he went to war with the 31st N.C., Company "C", was wounded at Drewry`s Bluff, Va. around May 16-17, 1864, was in Hosp #9 on May 25, from what I have found that's where he died. He was my GG-Grandfather I have no idea of him or family before the 1850 date. He is my brick wall. If you think there is a connection please contact. Thanks, James L.
