I am a descendant of ROBERT JOHNSON m. JEMIMA SUGGETT (Orange Co.VA to Scott County, KY. 1750 to abt. 1815. I am trying to find the origin of James SUGGETT, father of Jemima. I believe he shows up in Orange County, VA. abt 1747 m. Jemima Spence (Westmoreland County, VA) and a daughter, Elizabeth. There was a Suggett family in Richmond/Old Rappa County VA. with a James Suggett. However, I have not been able to find a doc. or record that proves that James Suggett (father of Jemima Suggett Johnson) was of the Richmond County line. The Robert Johnson m.
