It is believed that they came from somewhere in or near Washington, Pa located in Allegheny County near Pittsburgh . 1st Generation Oliver Perry Johnson (1814 - 1879 )married Elenor K. Hart (1813 - 1878) 2nd Generation John Johnson (1839 - ?) married Nancy Price(birth and death dates unknown) Jane Johnson (1842 - ?)married a Calvert. (dates unknown) Horatio Nelson Johnson ( 1845 - 1920) married Mary Virginia Mason (1852 - 1930) This is my ancestor, his name is sometimes spelled Hortio in census records. 3rd Generation Thomas Oliver Johnson (1871 - 1934) married Rusha Ola Jones(aka Pyles, 1875 - 1950) They had 10+ children. 4th Generation Earnest Jones Johnson (1906 - 1977) married Inez Clarissa McFadden (1906 - 1986). My grandparents. They had 10 children. I have most of the info on my aunts and uncles , getting info on their children also. I need to verify the info on the previous generations as well as find Oliver Perry Johnson's parents and siblings. Any help would be appreciated. All of these people lived in Silver Hill, Wetzel County , West Virginia or Marshall County, West Virginia. They are buried in cemeteries within those two counties.
