Elizabeth Evoline/Eveline STOKES, born 30 Dec. 1815, (N.Car., S.Car., Tennessee?), died 27 Jan. 1873, Calloway, KY. (Eveline Stokes married 4 times, widowed 3 times.) Married David M. JOHNSON, William B. LYNCH, John A. SMITH & William H. WATSON. In 1840 Graves County, Kentucky, Census, Eveline STOKES JOHNSON is listed as head of house. David M. JOHNSON and Eveline STOKES JOHNSON had 5 children. I believe not all of them survived to adulthood. 1---William G. JOHNSON, born, 2 April 1831 died ? Believe died young. 2---Tennessee C. JOHNSON, born, 28 April 1832, (my ggg-grandmother) married James Monroe McCORD 1---Elizabeth Evelyn McCORD, born 25 Dec. 1854, Calloway Co., Kentucky +William Anderson THURMOND. 3---McCord JOHNSON, born, 1833, died ? believe died young. 4---George M. JOHNSON, born, 2 Aug. 1834, died? believe died young. 5---Cave JOHNSON, born, 8 Sept. 1836, married Martha A. CLOYS, lived in Kentucky. Does anyone know who David M. JOHNSON'S parent's or siblings were. I believe he was born in Tennessee, as some of his children state this on a later census. I NEED HELP! Thanks, Dee
