When? Which millennium? which century? which decade? Gerald J.
For Carol Carol you sent a note Alan asking him where is Prentice Co., MS. Prentice Co., is in the north east section of MS. But the name Jordan Johnson is what I am look for. Do not see this name within the Johnson family much. I have a Jordan Johnson with wife Sarah Burney that had a son name Thomas Benton Johnson. Thomas Benton was born 1838 in Monticello, Lawrence Co., MS. Thomas is the father of Gov. Paul B. Johnson, Sr. Jordan Johnson was bron in Richmond, VA. Not looking at my data but I think this Jordan moved to Marion Co., MS. I only have the one son listed for Jordan and would love to have know if the two Jordan could be the same person. I do not have more information on Jordan so he could have remarried. I have been trying to find the father of Jordan as one researcher listed him as being part of my Johnson family line, but I can not fine the connection. FrankHarrison@prodigy.net View my web page at: http://members.tripod.com/MyFamilyHistory Researching: BEEMAN, BROOKS, CASTLES, CLEARMAN, DEAN, GRESSETT, HARRISON, HITT, JOHNSON, MAYATTE, MOORE AND MUNN Related sir name of interest: CRABTREE, FRAZIER, GEORGE, HIGGINBOTHAM, HOLLAND, JARMAN, AND THAMES

Hi It is all probable but not proven as such. If you asked me to bet on it, I would say yest. I have several lines like this and I treat them as probable until I can prove them correct or incorrect. Wheatley Gray could have been a brother or a close friend. Most likely the father, but you have to prove it, or at least acknowledge it isn't proved. One work I saw recently listed all the probables and the unlikelys, because he couldn't prove his thought due to lack of records. best of luck, Gaila
