    1. [JOHNSON] Cass JOHNSON, Ga
    2. Deborah DeBrunner
    3. O.k., I'm barking up the right tree, just another branch! I've not had success in finding a ROLLINS/RAWLINS/etc. (female) marriage to a JOHNSON (male) ca 1850, around, if not in, Cobb Co., GA. This JOHNSON male married again after 1854 to ? and produced a son, Cass JOHNSON. Anyone out there with a Cass JOHNSON from GA? Perhaps you don't even realize his daddy was married at least once before? Cass had step-brothers (Francis Samuel and Richard Benjamin JOHNSON) that were raised with ROLLINS family in Arkansas. Cass knew of them and a meeting was arranged in 1935, but for some reason didn't come about. Any assistance would be appreciated :-) Deborah dbrdbrnr@webtv.net

    1. [JOHNSON] Re: Hiram W. Johnson-184/1848-Born Iowa and Hiram Johnson born 1873 Tn.
    2. I am looking for information on Hiram W. Johnson born in Iowa in about 1848. I do not know his parents although one chart listed Isaac Johnson born in 1818 in Iowa. I have not been able to verify that information. Hiram married Charlotte Christie. She was born in 1847. In the 1870 census from Dyer County, /Tennessee, Hiram was a laborer on the farm owned byCharlotte Christie's father, John Christie, who was born in 1818. In 1900 Dyer county census in Tn. there is a Hiram Johnson who was born in 1873 in Tennessee. I have not been able to verify whether Hiram born in about 1873 is the son of Hiram W. born in about 1847. I do not think he is the son but a nephew or step brother to several sons of Hiram W-- Some descendants of Hiram W. are Arba Vernon Johnson, John William Johnson and , Homer Willcliff Johnson. Homer is my grandfather. Thanks for any help you may be able to give Susan Johnson

This database contains the names those women who were entitled to make the pilgrimage, as shown by department records on 15 November 1929. 3. Hi Gena, I just joined the Johnson mailing list about a week ago and posted an e-mail about lost Arkansas Johnsons to which you replied. I have just learned that Zelda Tarwater's (Zelda married Orion Leon Johnson, Sr., who is from a different line of Johnsons from Mississippi which is what the email was about) mother was Edith Johnson b. 13 mar 1889 d. Jun 5 1944 in Russell, Arkansas. Edith's parents were W.R. Johnson b. 1840 in Kentucky d. 1920 in Arkansas. W.R. married Mary Francis Bone b. 8 aug 1848 Tennessee d. 15 jul 1913 in Arkansas. She was the daughter of Noah Bone b. 1818 in VA or Tenn. m. Jane b. 1826 in NC. I hope this information is of some help to you as I know you have been looking for your Johnsons for long time. If we are indeed linked via the KY Johnsons, I would love to exchange information. I would appreciate any help or information as I am finding the Johnson branch of my family very difficult to research. I am at work right now so I will give you my home email address also. If you reply to this message, could you possibly send it to both addresses. Thank you again for all of your help so far. erkhan@home.com livingroom.sb@gte.net P. S. I also have 2 more generations of Johnsons going back on Orion Johnsons side-these Johnsons were from the northwest corner of Arkansas and they migrated from Mississippi Thanks again, Talk to you soon, Christopher Johnson
