    1. [JOHNSON] ARTHUR LEROY JOHNSON
    2. Need info on one ARTHUR LEROY JOHNSON aka LEROY JOHNSON aka ROY JOHNSON Born about 1912 or 13 known to have resided in McAlester Oklahoma and Okla City, Ok area in the 30's and 40's married DOROTHY MAY ROBERTSON 1931 divorced 1933 unknown if living or deceased I think he had sisters named ANNA and LENA unknown if they were 1/2 sisters mothers name was ANNA CRAFT or KRAFT fathers name unknown about all can tell you about my father is this His full name is Arthur LeRoy Johnson, According to the marriage license he was 21 yrs' old in 1931 if this is accurate he would have been born in 1910 (but on my birth certificate in 1932 it shows he was 20 yrs' old so I would say he was probably born in 1912) but I know for sure my mother lied about her age because it says she was 18 yrs' old in 1931 when in fact she was only 14 1/2 yrs' old But she says he was 4 or 5 years older than her so maybe he didn't have to lie about his age. When they met in McAlester Oklahoma (Pittsburg Co.) in 1930-31 he was living with his mother who had divorced his dad and had remarried a Henry Craft/ Kraft. I think his dad and two older sisters were living in Okla. City,OKla at this time. His Dad's name might possibly have been Ira and he remarried a woman whose name might have been Ezra This is what my mother thinks but she isn't sure. His Sisters names were Lena and Anna Johnson (Again I think) he also had an older Brother who was named Jack who died before he met my mother and I was supposedly named after him. I may have over looked them in the 1920 census but then again they may have moved to Oklahoma after the 1920 census. I have both the marriage license and the divorce papers but there is nothing of any value on them except that he signed the marriage app. as LeRoy Johnson which leads me to believe he may have used his middle name as a first name. they were married in OK City, OK on 10/13/1931 and divorced on Aug 27 1934 in Pittsburg Co. Okla. As you can see I don't have much to go on but if you can help I would be forever grateful. I hope you can make heads from tails of this but if there's any questions I will answer what I can. 1. [JOHNSON] LUCKY AND SUSIE JOHNSON
    2. tanya
    3. I have been searching for information on my gggrandparents Lucky and Susie Johnson for a long time now. They are believed to be born in Mississippi, near Buckatunna (Wayne County) abt 1830s. Lucky was part Irish and Susie part Choctaw and part Cherokee. Lucky could also be listed as (Luke or Lauchee John). Although I have found some Lucky Johnsons and many Susie Johnsons on the census records, I have never found those two names together. Since they may have migrated to Oklahoma, I have also checked there. I am still awaiting information from the Social Security Administration about a Lucky Johnson who died in Choctaw Co., Oklahoma. The only child I am aware of is my ggrandmother Fannie Johnson b. 1855-1860 who was separated from them when she was abt 8 years old. So far, we are not sure if she had any siblings. I will appreciate any and all help with this mystery.

    1. [JOHNSON] C.B. Johnson, Arkansas?, 1894
    2. Tommy Ingram
    3. I am looking for the Johnson family of my paternal grandmother. My father's mother, Gurthey Elizabeth Johnson, died in Imperial Co. CA in Oct. 1918. On her death certificate, her father's name was listed as C.B. Johnson and she was shown as born in Arkansas, March 1894. Other family members suggest her birthdate as 1890. Gurthey is said to have had at least one brother, named Forrest Johnson. She and my grandfather, John Timothy Ingram, married in Elk City, OK in 1907. I do not know where they met. He was living in Drumwright, OK shortly before their marriage. After marriage, they lived in Eastland Cty, TX before moving to Imperial, CA c.1918. (John Ingram's parents were from Van Buren Cty, Arkansas.) So, I'm looking for the family of C.B. (or C.P.) Johnson and his two known children, Gurthey Elizabeth and Forrest - who may all have been living somewhere in Arkansas c1890-94. Tommy Ingram Austin, TX hmp@texas.net

    2. In the Fairfield cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee, there is a "Johnson" plot that has my grandfather Homer Johnson 1873--1957 and my grandmother, Florence Johnson (1882--1933). I would like to know about Ivor Johnson 1886--1966, also Mary Fowlkes Johnson 1884-1914, and W. Marvin Johnson 1882-1936 Does anyone have information on these Johnsons? Any help would be appreciated.
