    2. Hi all I have two Johnson lines that I'd love to know more about. First I have my Kentucky Johnson James Johnson born about 1804, not sure where, Married Mary Blanton 22 Dec 1822 in Harlan County, KY. Mary was born about 1804 (again, not sure where) James died possibly in Breathitt Co, Kentucky in 1876 My second Johnson line are my Illinois Johnsons: Robert Harrington Johnson was born November 11, 1796, in VA. His father was Francis Johnson and his mother was Nancy Harrington. Robert married Bathsheba Potter, in August 1814. I have nothing on Bathsheba. Robert was killed by an ox on 21 February 1837. I have limited information from "Good Old Times in McLean County, Illinois" but that's all I have. I would love to hear from anyone else connected to these lines. Emily in California

    1. [JOHNSON] ARTHUR LEROY JOHNSON
    2. Need info on one ARTHUR LEROY JOHNSON aka LEROY JOHNSON aka ROY JOHNSON Born about 1912 or 13 known to have resided in McAlester Oklahoma and Okla City, Ok area in the 30's and 40's married DOROTHY MAY ROBERTSON 1931 divorced 1933 unknown if living or deceased I think he had sisters named ANNA and LENA unknown if they were 1/2 sisters mothers name was ANNA CRAFT or KRAFT fathers name unknown about all can tell you about my father is this His full name is Arthur LeRoy Johnson, According to the marriage license he was 21 yrs' old in 1931 if this is accurate he would have been born in 1910 (but on my birth certificate in 1932 it shows he was 20 yrs' old so I would say he was probably born in 1912) but I know for sure my mother lied about her age because it says she was 18 yrs' old in 1931 when in fact she was only 14 1/2 yrs' old But she says he was 4 or 5 years older than her so maybe he didn't have to lie about his age. When they met in McAlester Oklahoma (Pittsburg Co.) in 1930-31 he was living with his mother who had divorced his dad and had remarried a Henry Craft/ Kraft. I think his dad and two older sisters were living in Okla. City,OKla at this time. His Dad's name might possibly have been Ira and he remarried a woman whose name might have been Ezra This is what my mother thinks but she isn't sure. His Sisters names were Lena and Anna Johnson (Again I think) he also had an older Brother who was named Jack who died before he met my mother and I was supposedly named after him. I may have over looked them in the 1920 census but then again they may have moved to Oklahoma after the 1920 census. I have both the marriage license and the divorce papers but there is nothing of any value on them except that he signed the marriage app. as LeRoy Johnson which leads me to believe he may have used his middle name as a first name. they were married in OK City, OK on 10/13/1931 and divorced on Aug 27 1934 in Pittsburg Co. Okla. As you can see I don't have much to go on but if you can help I would be forever grateful. I hope you can make heads from tails of this but if there's any questions I will answer what I can.
