The Rev. Ray Hollis will officiate and interment will take place in Sunnyside Cemetery.Jobe was the son of Bart and Minnie (Sheach) Jobe. Survivors include a son and a sister. ------ Independence Daily Reporter, 4 Jan 1967, Page 2 JOBE FUNERAL TO BE ON SATURDAY CANEY--Funeral services for John E. Jobe, 64, of Caney will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Graves Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ray Hollis, pastor of the Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. Mr. Jobe died Tuesday at 5:55 a.m. in the Veterans Hospital in Wichita. He was born May 2, 1902, at Pawnee, Okla. He was a farmer and a veteran of World War II. He married Ida Hallworth at Pawnee on July 22, 1927. She survives at the home. Also surviving is a son, John Leslie, address unknown, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Greggor, Paweee, Okla.
